IN CHARACTER

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Fairly open to all displays of affection, including public. He tends to initiate contact a lot, and the concept of personal space doesn't really occur to him.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Absolutely will not hesitate to deck someone if need be, and has the physical strength behind him to make it count. Some of his affection can fall into this category as well (headlocks, noogies, etc.).
PSYCHIC/PSIONIC: Extremely emotionally intelligent, usually can deduce what others are feeling by body language, but that comes more easily as he grows closer to someone. At any given moment, he's probably thinking about workouts he'll do later, or new recipes he wants to try.
MAGICAL: None.
MEDICAL: Extremely physically fit! He can probably pick your character up and haul them around. He works out for hours every day and regulates his diet very carefully to achieve the best gains. He cooks all his own food, it's very rare that he'll eat processed or fast foods, so he tends to feel a little queasy when he does. That said, he does drink a lot of wine.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

VISUAL: A brick wall of a man. Kojiro is 186cm (6'1") tall, and pure muscle. He has a tribal styled sun tattoo on his left shoulder.
AURAL: Deep, somewhat nasal voice. It's soothing when he wants to be.
OLFACTORY: At Sia la Luce, he just smells like garlic. Otherwise, he wears a light, earthy cologne, and may smell like sea salt and sunshine on any given weekend.
DEMEANOR: Warm, welcoming, friendly, and grounded. He's almost always got a smile on his face, and he's ready to drop an epic dad speech at a moment's notice. He does have a bit of a temper, but it's reserved for specific people only.

HEADCANONS

The Nanjos are a big family. Kojiro's the oldest of four kids, and he played a big role in raising his siblings. Mom and Dad are still together.

Kojiro fell for Kaoru the second he laid eyes on him when they were in kindergarten. Depending on the ship being written, he may or may not have outgrown that.

During his time abroad, he studied (and briefly worked) almost exclusively in Naples. He did stints in Rome and Milan, but the dishes he cooks at Sia la Luce are mostly Neapolitan.

The necklace he wears at S is from a little tourist trap near his hostel in Italy. He bought it shortly after settling in, with the intention of gifting it to Kaoru. But then he started wearing it, fiddled with it whenever he was feeling lonely, and ended up keeping it after he returned.

Kaoru financially assisted him with purchasing and opening Sia la Luce. It's a big part of why he has the privilege of eating and drinking there for free.
